The Arts + Wellness Pilot Program has officially begun! Our residents are now benefitting from yoga, dance, & visual arts. Moving our bodies supports stress management, mental health, and mindfulness! This is so important especially in the colder months, when our joints get stiff, to continue finding ways to get moving. Making art can boost our self-esteem and sense of accomplishment. It allows us to explore new things in a safe space and teaches us that it is okay to make mistakes along the way. We love this program because it allows us to enhance our mission of helping our residents live joyful and fulfilling lives! The best news: This program is set to expand even more in the months to come!
